As part of MAP 2.0, we've been collecting the goals and aspirations that other initiatives have developed. We've put these initiatives into our Progress Pie to give you an idea of the different types of goals other projects are articulating.
It's our first attempt, so let us know of any issues, if there are other initiatives we could add or if you have any other thoughts.

Hi There - please note I cannot see your progress pie on an abs browsing station. I can only see a square box with an x in the box - indicating that something is missing.

project in Australia fails every time, for instance new ferris wheel in Melbourne. houses in australia looks so ugly compared to the ones in Europe. We still cant say life is getting better here in Australia. Tax is high in Australia, Government has introduced a new tax called carbon tax which will effect many middle class households

we are not able to walk the streets. children are not on the streets for cricket and footy. NO WE ARE NOT LIVING BETTER. WE HAD A BEAUTIFUL LIFESTYE FROM OUR BEGINNINGS TO 1990 THEN IT SLIPPED FROM OUR GRASP...... So what changed it? decissions by govt would be up there somewhere

Hi Lynda
Thanks for letting us know. We've changed the pie so it should be in a format that most people can see now. If you stil cannot see it, you might need to get Adobe Flash Player installed and there a link for that just above the pie.

I wonder what is meant by progress, and depending on the answer, do we really wish to pursue it?
My fear is that progress is often so much about the individual human having more of something without care for the effect of achieving such.
How about progress as measured by the quality and maybe amount, of our care for others - both other specie that share this earth with us as well as for those humans who have so much less than us?
In fewer words lets improve the nobility of our care for others. Now that would be genuine progress. Maybe each element of your pie could be measured by its relevance to such a wish?
I wonder if anyone else believes in such thinking?
