Ms Dickinson currently holds the position of Head, Information and Statistics Group at the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. In this position Ms Dickinson has responsibility for cross-cutting statistical functions of the AIHW including data development methods, metadata management, statistical quality assurance and data linkage. She also manages the Institute’s statistical programs in the areas of expenditure and labourforce statistics.
Between 2002 and 2010, Teresa Dickinson worked for the Australian Bureau of Statistics, in roles that saw her accountable for strategic and statistical planning for the ABS and provision of corporate and financial services, as well as in the economic statistics area.
Immediately prior to joining the ABS Teresa established a statistical analysis and forecasting group within the Victorian Department of Human Services which, at that time, incorporated the Department of Health.
Ms Dickinson has a Masters of Science (majoring in Statistics) and an MBA and is an Accredited Statistician with the Statistical Society of Australia.
