Dr Jill Charker is the Chief Executive Officer of ComSuper, which is the legislated administrator of the Commonwealth Government’s Military and Australian Public Service superannuation schemes.
Dr Charker was previously the First Assistant Statistician in the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ Population, Education and Data Integration Division.
Jill holds a PhD from Griffith University, and a Class 1 Honours degree in psychology, majoring in statistics. In addition, she has completed an Executive Masters degree in Public Administration through the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG). Dr Charker is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has completed the Company Directors Course.
In 2012, Dr Charker was a national winner of the Australian Financial Review BOSS Young Executive of the Year award. She has wide ranging experience in various statistical, policy and program evaluation roles from a range of Queensland Government agencies, including Queensland Treasury.
Dr Charker maintains an ongoing adjunct role as a research fellow in the School of Human Services, Griffith University.
