Ms Carla Sbrocchi has played key leadership roles with various conservation and natural resource management organisations around the world, including the Vancouver Aquarium in Canada, the NSW Northern Rivers Catchment Management Authority and the Census of Marine Life, based in Washington DC.
Ms Sbrocchi is a marine scientist and also specialises in science communications and developing knowledge base for strategic environmental planning. Carla is working with the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists alongside regional natural resource management organisations across Australia in developing a set of national Environmental Accounts.
She is currently undertaking a postgraduate degree in Marine Science focusing on citizen science (community-based monitoring) in the coastal and marine environment.
